How it works

From conversation to clear next step.

Tela is designed around consent, temporary transcription, selective summarization, and evidence-backed recall.

01

Identify the conversation

A known contact supplies the name and phone number. Unknown callers can be labeled and added later.

02

Capture permitted audio

The mobile app will record a call only when lawful and permitted. Selected messages enter through Android Share.

03

Choose after the call

The transcript remains temporary while Tela asks whether to summarize, keep, or delete it.

04

Use the memory

Ask a question, inspect the cited source, create an appointment, or add an item to a project.

☎

Calls

Transcription distinguishes speakers where supported and associates the call with a contact.

✉

Messages

You share only the messages you want summarized. Tela does not silently ingest the full inbox.

⌖

Calendar and maps

Appointments can include a person and address, open navigation, and trigger a time-to-leave reminder.

✓

Projects

Summaries can include project names, status, responsible people, deadlines, and next steps.

▦

Materials

Track item names, quantities, specifications, vendors, costs, and acquisition status.

◎

Local recall

Questions search your saved transcripts and point back to supporting passages rather than inventing details.
